2011

Successful Annual Meeting 2011 of the VTH in Cologne

The General Assembly 2011 of the VTH in Cologne, is unfortunately already history. "Pool the strengths – exploit potentials" was the motto. VTH offered a very diverse program, both in technical as well as in informal counts. The subject-specific program was due to the selection of topics and speakers very informative and interesting. The distributors talked and learned about manufacturer marks and trademarks, Internet commerce, sales strategies and modern instruments of recruitment. The social highlight was an evening in the 100 meters high, overlooking the old town of Cologne.

All the four professional groups of VTH met in autumn 2011

It was a great rush at all meetings of the four professional groups in the VTH. In late autumn 2011, the specialists in occupational safety, sealing technology, drive technology and also hoses and fittings met at four different locations in Hamburg, Duesseldorf, Hoexter and Lier (Belgium). Three working visits to manufacturers of technical articles and an anniversary conference attracted the guests. And participants were not disappointed. Exciting insights and outlooks as well as meeting with the network partners were on the programs of the four well-attended events.

May 14th-16th 2009 - Reutlingen - Reiff Group

European Junior meeting - Young german and european industrial distributors meet in Reutlingen, visit the innovative logistic center of the Reiff Gruppe, presented by Hubert Reiff, and discuss about the market structure of the european industrial distribution.
On the last day the group visits the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart.

Mr. Peter Mühlberger is new chairman of the VTH

On 3 October the board of the VTH elected Mr. Peter Mühlberger, owner of the company Mühlberger GmbH, Wiesbaden (Mainz Kastel), unanimously to new chairman of VTH.
After 12 years in this job the past chairman, Mr. Joachim Stricker, owner of the company Gummi-Stricker GmbH & Co. KG, Münster, was not ready for reelection.
He was elected by his colleagues unanimously to deputy chairman and belongs just like Mr. Thomas Liebherr (Ketterer + Liebherr GmbH, Freiburg), Mr. Hubert Reiff (Reiff – Technische Produkte – GmbH, Reutlingen) and Mr. Rainer Sattelmacher (Sattelmacher KG and Willbrandt KG, Hamburg) further on to the executive board of VTH.
The 49 years old MBA Peter Mühlberger, who is honorary active for VTH already since many years, regards it as his principal target to find answers to the questions of all members and give them orientation and assistance in faster changing environment.
As the most important property of the VTH he will maintain and develop the "culture of cooperation".

VTH-Bundestagung (General Assembly) 2008 in Salzburg

Under the slogan "Goals to arrange - goals to achieve" this year's VTH-Bundestagung (General Assembly) will take place on 3 October in Salzburg.
Four interesting thematically workshops, the assembly of the members, the award of the Innovation Price, the mention of the supplier of the year as well as the lecture of the Austrian extreme sportsman and book author Wolfgang Fasching are on the agenda.
The traditional festive evening takes place in the famous restaurant M32 on the Mönchsberg (monk mountain).
The leisure time activities will show Salzburg to the participants.
Thus the conference offers again interesting points of program and sufficient possibilities to exchange with colleagues in an informal atmosphere.

1904 - 2004: 100 Years VTH!
VTH, Verband Technischer Handel e.V., keeps its 100st anniversary at the "Gästehaus Petersberg" Hotel in Königswinter nearby Bonn. Members, main supplyers and partners are invited to celebrate the anniversary with VTH.
